Our Mission
About KASAMA
The Katsina State Assets Management Agency is the statutory body responsible for the professional management, control, and optimisation of all assets owned by the Government of Katsina State — anchored on transparency, accountability, and sustainable growth.

Who We Are
The Katsina State Assets Management Agency (KASAMA) was established by the Katsina State Government to serve as the centralised, professional body responsible for the comprehensive management of all state-owned assets. Our work spans every category of government property — from land and buildings to vehicles, equipment, and critical public infrastructure.
Prior to KASAMA's establishment, asset management responsibilities were fragmented across multiple Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs), leading to duplication, undervaluation, and loss. KASAMA was created to consolidate this function under one professional authority — bringing discipline, transparency, and strategic purpose to how the State manages its public resources.
Today, KASAMA maintains a real-time digital asset register, conducts periodic independent valuations, coordinates maintenance programmes, and publishes regular public reports — making Katsina State a leader in responsible, accountable public asset governance across Nigeria.
Mandate & Legal Role
KASAMA is established by law as the sole authority for state asset management in Katsina State, with clearly defined statutory functions.
"KASAMA shall maintain a comprehensive and accurate register of all assets belonging to the Katsina State Government, and shall ensure their optimal utilisation, security, and value for the benefit of the people of Katsina State."

Our Vision
A state where every public asset is known, valued, protected, and contributing to sustainable development.
Core Values
Role in Sustainable Development
KASAMA's work directly contributes to Katsina State's long-term economic stability, environmental responsibility, and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
"Effective asset management is not just good governance — it is one of the most powerful tools a state government has to drive sustainable economic development and reduce poverty."
Dr. Lawal Aminu Bala, General Manager, KASAMARevenue & Economic Growth
By leasing underutilised government properties and monetising state assets, KASAMA generates sustainable non-oil revenue that funds public services, reduces fiscal deficits, and drives economic growth across Katsina State.
Infrastructure & Resilient Communities
Through structured maintenance programmes, KASAMA preserves the functional lifespan of government infrastructure — schools, hospitals, roads, and public offices — keeping communities served by reliable, safe facilities.
Accountable Institutions
KASAMA's commitment to transparent reporting, open asset registers, and published accounts strengthens the culture of institutional accountability in Katsina State — a cornerstone of good governance and public trust.
Environmental Stewardship
By maximising the use of existing assets and discouraging unnecessary procurement, KASAMA reduces waste and the environmental cost of government operations — contributing to a more sustainable and climate-conscious public sector.
Meet the Team
KASAMA is led by experienced professionals committed to professional, transparent, and results-driven public asset management.
